1. Responsibility for Damages & Lost Items

1.1 Equipment & Property Damage Fees

Guests are responsible for any damages caused to boats, gear, vehicles, or other rental equipment due to negligence, misuse, or reckless behavior. Fees are as follows:

Item        => Damage Fee

Snorkeling Gear (mask, fins, snorkel)   => $50 per item

Kayaks or Paddleboards    => Up to $500 (based on repair/replacement cost)

Life Jackets    => $75 per unit

Boat Equipment (Radio, GPS, etc.)   => Replacement value

Seat Cushions, Upholstery, or Fixtures.  => $150+ based on damage

Propeller Damage    => $500+ based on repair cost

Lost/Damaged Rental Keys    => $100

👉 If damage is deemed intentional or due to gross negligence, full replacement value may be charged.

1.2 Personal Belongings & Lost Items
  • Culebra Itineraries is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
  • Guests are encouraged to secure valuables and bring waterproof bags for electronics.

2. Late Fees & No-Show Policy

2.1 Late Arrivals
  • Guests must arrive on time for scheduled tours, rentals, and excursions.
  • If a guest is more than 15 minutes late, they may risk forfeiting their reservation without refund.
2.2 No-Show Policy
  • If a guest does not arrive for their booking and fails to notify us at least 24 hours in advance, they forfeit their entire payment.
2.3 Early Returns (Rentals Only)
  • Guests who return rental items earlier than scheduled will not receive a refund for unused time.

3. Safety & Conduct Policy

3.1 Alcohol & Drug Policy
  • Excessive alcohol consumption or illegal drug use before or during tours is strictly prohibited.
  • If a guest is deemed unfit to participate due to intoxication, Culebra Itineraries reserves the right to refuse service without a refund.
3.2 Disruptive Behavior
  • Any guest engaging in reckless, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior may be removed from the tour or rental without refund.

4. Refund & Charge Authorization

  • By booking with Culebra Itineraries, guests authorize charges for any damage, loss, late return, or violation of this policy to be applied to the original payment method on file.
  • Guests will be notified before charges are processed, and an invoice will be provided upon request.

5. Agreement to Terms

By booking a service with Culebra Itineraries, guests acknowledge and agree to abide by the fees, policies, and responsibilities outlined in this document.
